I'm a thirty-nine year old writer living in Ohio with my husband of 16 years and our two children, a 15 year old daughter and an 12 year old son. I've been writing poetry for as long as I can remeber. Over the years my writing has been a great source of theraphy and salvation for me. From surviving child abuse, depression, the struggles of motherhood, marriage and life itself...poetry has been my outlet. When I'm not writing Poetry I also enjoy reading poetry. My favorite poet is Edgar Allan Poe. Some other poets whose work I admire are...Emily Dickenson, Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Sharon Olds, Javan, Gregory Orr, Robert Frost and I've recently started reading the work of W.B. Yeats. Other types of reading that peak my interest is anything "dark", I like true crime and murder mysterys along with a good ghost story every now and then. Yes I am a fan and believer in the supernatural. Currently my two favorite tv shows are Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. (Info updated 4/27/08)
